It's almost completely the same, but its telekinetic power is far stronger. Blue Magic allows the user to teleport or forcefully move around souls with telekinesis. Similarly to Classic Sans, Epic! Sans wields blue magic. Unlike Classic Sans though, the bones Epic! Sans uses are more abundant and large. Similarly to Classic Sans, he has the ability to summon bones from surfaces. The destructive power of this blast is unknown, as we never saw a wide-scale-shot/bird's eye view. On top of that, when three blasters are combined prior to being fired, they combine into a beam much stronger and concentrated as opposed to only firing one. Whether or not the blasts can be utilized as mines is unknown. As stated by Yugo, these balls can even be used as a Rasengan. Epic! Sans is also shown to kick balls of energy from his Epic Blasters. They have been seen used for ramming and biting. They also have more utility than the Gaster Blasters that Classic Sans possesses. The Epic Blasters can turn while firing, so they can chase down targets with their beams. When three are fired in the same area, it creates a blast comparable to that of a mini- nuke, as it dwarves the trees found in Snowdin. These blasters function similarly to that of Classic Sans' blasters, but on a more destructive scale. Epic Blasters in particular create balls of energy before seemingly turning it into a beam. As the royal scientist, he's quite intelligent.Īccording to Yugo, Epic Sans's powers are purely only from Gaster, and none from Sans himself.Įpic Blasters are large dragon skulls that fire large blasts of magical energy. In the reboot, he's mostly the same, except he isn't fused with Gaster at all. His personality as a result was 90% Sans and 10% Gaster. In the original story, Epic! Sans was a fusion of Sans and Gaster, which is how he got his scar. He'll fight for his friends even at the cost of his life if need be. Epic! Sans isn't the kind of person who easily forgives, especially when he's betrayed. When the situation calls, he can be serious and shows uncharacteristic maturity when doing so, despite the omnipresent appearance of his favorite phrase. Whenever he's around his best friend Cross (From Xtale), he often engages in meme related antics. Epic! Sans tends to be a huge flirt to anyone he finds cute. If in the right conditions, he can become a nerd comparable to that of Alphys. He gave himself the title of "Epic!Sans" just because it sounds cool. He is generally lazy and casual, similar to classic Sans. He loves to say "Bruh" often, occasionally replacing words with it. Most of the time, the left socket where his scar is will be empty, but a magical purple eye will manifest when he's emotionally stressed, focused, or trying to intimidate others. For his bottoms, he wears black striped pants that are tucked into his boots. He wears black gloves that allow his fingers to show.
4.4 Epic!Gaster (the one who created Sans)Įpic! Sans wears a black and purple long-tailed trench coat that has a Half-Soul and white ribbon on its back.Toriel now takes a minor role, but she is still a caretaker (But together with Asriel).He also has a black "shadow" over his face which he uses at will, and refers to the Human as a "conqueror." Flowey is still called Flowey, but he is bigger than his canon counterpart.Asriel is the one you fight near the entrance to Snowdin rather than Toriel. Asriel lives in "Our Home" (Home (Also known as "Toriel's House") but remained due to alternative universe variation and different choices) with Toriel, who is alive, albeit being older due to having to deal with giving Asriel her soul energy for him to grow up.Flowey is introduced in Part 6 instead of at the beginning.Asriel is the caretaker of the Ruins, and appears to have been listening to a talking flower before seeing the Human.The Spider Bakesale has moved on to location in Snowdin.This room leads out into the room Napstablook is found in Undertale where it shows Undyne giving a Whimsun basic music lessons. The RUINS map itself is changed with the addition of a gigantic hub room.The author also answers in character asks on the official Tumblr where characters within the story respond to non-spoiler questions. The AU Scramble Saga was an inspiration and helpful for finding a standard of quality the author would be happy with. Sudden Changes is a role swap AU following the basic rules of Storyshift with only the lost souls, along with Mettaton, Napstablook, Chara and Asriel changing positions.
